Matenrou Opera has a live at Shibuya O-EAST on 8/17 that is called Matenrou Opera presents ~Legend of Steeler~. Besides Matenrou Opera themselves, Versailles and DELUHI will be performing. Advance tickets: 4500, tickets at door: 4800; I'm not sure about the opening and start time, because they have put two, and unfortunately, the live hall site hasn't been updated with that date. The two opening times are 16:00 and 17:00, and the start times are 17:00 and 18:00. (*Q*) Matenrou Opera will be doing a "Opera Thanksgiving" event(for those who don't know, "Opera" is what the band calls their fans, so obviously, this is the band showing appreciation to their fans)on 7/28 at Shibuya O-EAST; advance tickets cost 4200, tickets at the door cost 4700, and doors open at 17:30 with the event starting at 18:30.

The reason why I'm drooling despite the fact that I will unfortunately not be there is because of some of the things they have planned for that event. The one thing that most excites me about this event is that they will be filming a PV for 「R」. It's awesome because fans will be present of coarse, and this means that they will probably sell something that includes the video which everybody from places outside Japan can also purchase, or maybe it might be included with their new concert DVD, so \m/(>_<)\m/.

Anyway, there will be a cheki exchange throughout the event; I'm not 100% sure about all the details, but in order to get a cheki, the ticket stub must be presented and traded. They are still planning for the event, but if there are any Opera checking these updates, hurry and purchase tickets for this awesomeness, it's going to be freakin' amazing!!! \m/(>_<)\m/ I'll update on anything and everything, as usual.

For anybody going to Matenrou Opera's last indies live, they will be holding an exhibition of their outfits at the venue. By my understanding, there will be twenty outfits, and these will be the outfits they wore on and after January 2008.

Alright, people, Matenrou Opera's new official site is http://matenrou-opera.jp/. Second, they will make their major debut on 12/22. On that day, they will have a 7 song album coming out called 「Abyss」. It will be available in two types as usual, and the limited edition costs 4500, whereas the regular version will cost 2500(crazy difference, no? XD). The limited edition comes with an original tshirt. I don't know what size it will be available in..... in order to get the limited edition, it must be preordered by 10/24, Japan time. I don't know if this applies to CDJapan(they are taking preorders for both versions; limited edition costs $50.09, regular edition costs $27.83).

Anyway, just 'cause it's a regular edition doesn't mean you're not getting anything!!! I'm actually quite surprised that it's rather cheap for what it comes with, especially because it's something that would usually be something on a limited edition or something you'd have to go to a specific store to get. That just makes it better, plus most importantly, easily accessible to all. It's a DVD that includes a video of the "lead track", which probably means 「Abyss」 BUT!!! that's not the only thing.... the DVD also has the "making of" the album.
